Branches Series. "This series, I feel, has brought my work to a new level of ‘innocence’ and ‘discovery’. As I started working on this series, I felt a sense of relinquishing control. As if the canvas started working on me rather than I working on it. At that point I felt like I was discovering the artist in me all over again. Like a child, I just listen and followed my heart. I am reminded of what Picasso once said, “I spent my whole life to learn to paint like a child again.”
